Hair Color

                                                          Hai Color!

Who doesn't like having fun with changing their color?! After a thorough consultation I am ready to get that bowl of color mixed and massage it into your hair! It's such a good feeling to have someone playing in your hair, right?! My favorite part is the big reveal when it's all finished!

I listen to how busy my client is. How long will it be before I see them again? So many trends today make it easy since showing your roots is the style. These trends aren't for everyone. My client may be gray or enjoys coming in for touchups often. I never push a trend on someone if I feel it is out of their character or not age appropriate. I check their natural color first. I like to find something that won't look so noticeable growing out if my client can't make it every 4 weeks. For my clients who can come in often the sky is the limit with them! Yes, I can do bright blonde on someone with very dark hair because they come in enough to keep it looking great.

Style plays a role. Do they wear it curly? Colors with more contrast make a nice "swirl" throughout the hair. The colors cascade down the curls and the highlights look so defined next to the dark. For my clients with straight hair something that pops and shows some dimention gives their hair a more polished look. Something that looks more "sunkissed" or naturally highlighted. Sometimes instead of styling their hair my clients just wants awesome colors that look great even if they are just wearing their hair in a ponytail.

This balayage is the trendiest hair color out now. It allows you to go longer in between visits since the color is not directly on your roots.
